Couch time.

This past weekend and the beginning of this week I've spent my fair share of time on the couch. Good thing is, I got caught up on some great television shows and movies. I'll start with the movies and continue on to the television shows. These are in no particular order.

1. Book of Eli. Just go see it.
2. More Than a Game. I'm sure most would know the story even if they're not immediately familiar with the title. This movie was a documentary about Lebron James and his teammates from middle/high school. Although I was prepared to be unimpressed by pretty much everything but the Lebron James story itself, I was pleasantly surprised! It was an excellent movie and was about so much more than Lebron James. "The Fab Five," as he and his friends call themselves, share an amazing story. Basketball is the center of their bond but their lives off-court are equally as gripping as their athletic ups and downs. "More Than a Game" is definitely a sports movie, but it's a feel-good movie as well.
3. Dear John. OK, I haven't seen this movie but I've dreamt about it more than once and it's amazing.

1. Teen Mom. I know I'm probably too old to be an MTV junkie but I can't help myself. The people featured on Teen Mom were also on another MTV program I frequented entitled "16 and Pregnant." Their stories are all touching. OK, I take that back. Amber and Gary are not touching. Although they have stuggled like the others, they are obnoxious. Reason being, on the reunion show, Amber seemed to think she might be pregnant again. HELLO PEOPLE. Get it together. Anyways, the engaged stepchildren and Maci are my favorites. I have watched every episode and these past few days have continued to re-watch them. Can't. Stop.
2. The Buried Life. Another MTV gem. The four boys in this show are absolutely hilarious and I want to live with them. On their tour bus. Last night they helped deliver a baby and sent a girl from Memphis to Denver, to see her mother's grave. They are the most genuinely altruistic people I have never met. As they have inspired us, a friend and I have also started to make a list of things we want to do before we die. Her list is much more together than mine. If you're lucky maybe she'll share in the comments :) I'll post my first draft when it's compiled.
3. The Good Wife. There are quite a few weeknight television programs these days. With all the CSI's and NCIS's one could get confused. That's why I stay away from all of that mumbo jumbo. Stictly business with "The Good Wife." Last night, one of the lawyers was tripping shrooms. If that doesn't peak your interest you should probably stick to "Everybody Loves Raymond." But really, this show is amazing. It's dramatic, hilarious and gripping. Keeps me coming back every week. It is a little late at 9:00pm so be sure to set that DVR. When I'm too tired, it becomes my afternoon treat on Wednesdays between jobs.

Hopefully those recomendations are to your liking. If not, we'll try again some other time. I've got to get back to work now. Maybe later I'll tell about how I'm going to Spain in a month.

ADIOS!!!
